Nothing Makes a Splash in India with New Phone, Watch, and Earbuds
British tech company Nothing has unveiled a wave of new products for the Indian market, including their first-ever smartphone, the CMF Phone 1. This phone is joined by the CMF Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds and the CMF Watch Pro 2 smartwatch.
CMF Phone 1: Customizable with Style
The CMF Phone 1 stands out for its focus on personalization. With interchangeable back panels in various colors and textures, users can create a phone that reflects their style. The phone also boasts unique attachable accessories that connect using a rotatable dial and screws. It’s important to note that these accessories are sold separately.
CMF Phone 1: Pricing and Availability
The CMF Phone 1 comes in two variants:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 15,999
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 17,999
Back cases come in black, orange, light green, and blue for Rs 1,499 each. Other accessories include a stand, lanyard, and card case, all priced at Rs 799 each.
The phone will be available for purchase starting July 12th through the cmf.tech website, Flipkart, and select retail stores. There will also be a pop-up event at Lulu Mall in Bengaluru on July 9th where you can buy the CMF Phone 1 with the CMF Buds Pro 2. The first 100 customers at the pop-up will even get the CMF Buds for free!
As a launch promotion, there will be Rs 1,000 cashback offered by banks on purchases of the CMF Phone 1 on the first day of sales.
CMF Phone 1: Under the Hood
The CMF Phone 1 features a large 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. A long-lasting 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging keeps you going, and you can even use the phone for reverse wired charging of other devices at 5W. However, be aware that the charger is not included in the box and must be purchased separately for Rs 799.
